THE EXPLODING KIRKLEES INCINERATOR
 

The incinerator that is proposed at Rainworth which is being sold by Nottinghamshire County Council and Veolia as SAFE and having no problems,  appears to be of similar design to the Kirklees Incinerator in Huddersfield. 
On the 22nd September 2006 this unit blew up!
Obviously at this time PAIN has not been given the full details of the new incinerator plans, however we have been told that this is a new generation plant.  Kirklees is one of these 'new generation incinerators'.
